1975 MG Midget Description:

This 1975 MG Midget is in good condition. Current owner had seats recovered, installed new top, new tires and various other small items such as window seals and other minor parts when purchased in 2012. Current owner also installed Retrosound radio. See their website for additional details.
Car was repainted by former owner(s). Current color is not original. Car runs well; recently tuned and consistent oil changes. Current owner had body work on rocker panels and side body to eliminate some rust. No other known major rust. Mechanic believes engine may have been replaced with Sprite engine based upon oil filter size. I cannot confirm this for sure or know when this may have occurred. There is a small oil leak of unknown origin. Have had oil pan gasket replaced and other gaskets/seals replaced but issue has not been resolved. Does not appear to be engine related as no engine oil loss is apparent. Seat backs recline but seats do not move forward or back (need to be possibly removed and new rails installed or lubricated). New battery in 2016. Includes hardtop, which needs to be repainted.
This is a used car and is being sold in "as is" condition. This listing may not include all defects. It is not a show car but makes for a great daily driver in nice weather. No warranties or representations made.
