1979 MG MGB Description:

1979 MGB roadster, Involved in a collision prior to being purchased by the 2nd (?) owner in 1981 from a salvage yard...with paperwork...the car has only 26+,000 original miles. The car has never been fully repaired. It starts...runs and shifts smoothly, brakes work...the car is basically rust free but needs to be re-assembled, painted etc.by a professional to be deemed roadworthy. Or a great source of parts. I purchased the car 2 years ago, replaced wrecked panels with good used parts but not permanently secured. The car has a new gas tank, new convertible top ...starts and runs in all weather. I swapped out the electronic distributor for a points distributor. Interior is mostly there...the right side of the dash was damaged when hit. Also... the mechanicals are all original and functional...smog, full exhaust with catalytic converter, fuel pump, original carb set up. I have a "rust free"1980 MGB shell that I would be willing to throw in on the deal as well.
