MG-TD Mark II In Very Good Condition. An Authentic Mk II

1953 MG T-Series Mk II Description:

This car has just undergone a comprehensive mechanical rehab. Detailed work orders are available. I have a second MG TD and that is the reason for selling the Mk II. The Mk II is quicker. It is in excellent running condition and driven frequently to assure reliability.
Exterior shows well, however it is not a show car. Pictures are somewhat better than up close and personal. Just drive it. You'll like it.
Interior is very good just showing a bit of age. Black leather seats. Top and side curtains are in good shape and there is a full tonneau.
Everything is nice and tight. Car was lubed and all fluids checked or replaced. Topped off gas. Doors are secure. I removed the floppy wipers.
August work done; 1) new brakes 2) steering boots 3) clutch adjusted 4) new ignition system 5) tuned SU carbs 6) flushed brake system 7) new spare 8) new carpets 9) new battery 10) voltage regulator.
Mark II performance components: larger carbs; larger intake manifold; larger valves; increased compression ratio; twin fuel pumps; changed rear end ratio (4.875). Only 157 to USA in '53.
