1959 MG MGA Base Late 58 Body Style Description:

For sale is a late 58 body style / early 1959 MGA roadster model crossover with the 1600 engine in the process of a comprehensive restoration. Stripped down to frame and shell. All components were sand-blasted. Chassis is completely restored. Frame is coated with top coat chassis paint, and undercoated in specific areas throughout car. Body insulation and sound deadening material installed. In side of doors, trunk, hood and dash powder coated to match out side paint when applied, have paint. All component parts powder coated and all new polypropylene bushings or stock rubber completely replaced. New brake system with power booster,and new fuel lines and pump. NOS gas tank epoxy painted and professionally coated inside. New float sending unit, and cap. Bumper ends re-chromed, rear bumper original ordered from the MGA Germany MFG, front replacement from supplier. New top ordered from England. The restored optional hardtop shown in the photo is NOT INCLUDED in this sale but it may may be purchased separately, and it has a hardtop stand and dust cover. Hardtop included ONLY if pay full price. Hardtop has a separate listing too. Have the original tonuea cover. Side curtains and new hardware restored. All inner fender skirts sand blasted, powder coated and new seals with copper rivets. New 1/2" floor boards with marine plywood laminated in Formica and sealed with epoxy and ends wrapped. New brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders, hoses brake shoes, and drums professionally turned down. New glowshift gauges, but have original style gauges still need finished cleaned/restored, and ONLY one set of gauges with purchase. New interior kit, new carpet and trunk kit installed, with custom features added. Center console and under dash console. New vintage radio w cd play flip down front, and have the original style am radio, one with sale. Restored new upholsters mgb heated seats with new seat belts, have original mga reupholstered seats too, ONLY one pair of seats with sale. New aluminum custom radiator by Wizard Cooling and New aluminum over-flow tank, and have the original radiator in nice condition being refurbished, ONLY one radiator unit with sale. Original Rear professionally rebuilt at local restoration shop with 3.9 MGB Banjo gears, and front rack gone over as well with new seals and tie-rod ends. Leaf springs sand blasted powder coated, with new bushings and all new rubbers . Window frame restored and re-sealed with new rubbers. New tires and tubes, wire wheels blasted, and powder coated with professional hand painted pin-stripes. Basic body work completed, weld repairs, fenders under coated, new rockers, precision work need completed, all fender bolt plates powder coated. All the chrome component pieces new or re-chromed, Original grill professionally restored re-chromed at machine chrome shop, and louvers powder coated to original color. Many other details New carpet mats and rubber mats, after-market tool pouch, carpet tire cover. Custom MGA decals for rocker panels. MGA 1600 engine and trans in process of major refurbishing of clean freely turning engine and is basically done with many new items, some items need going over to be completed, and final torching of engine, much has been done. Also have many new component parts to engine / trans, and electrical. Drive shaft completed. Have an extra trans for parts. New wire harness to be installed. Original older set of SU/H1carbs cleaned and gone over, w/ new air filters elements. Have all receipts and other photos of restoration are available. Will be fabulous car when completed. Still working on toward finishing but price will continue to go up. NOTE: Duplicate seats, gauges and radiator will be included if pay full price.
