ENGINE
1969 MG MGB Roadster Description:
I purchased this vehicle in 1982. At the time it was running but has been in storage since. In 1982 I replaced all the fluids and into storage it went. Engine oil is still a golden color. The car is not running now.As can be seen from the pictures this MGB will need a restoration. Frame is straight and solid. The car was converted to a single 12 volt battery before I purchased it but it would be an easy conversion back to the two six volt battery system. I had replaced the floors with sheet steel but there are now floor kits available.
New York State does not have titles on pre-1973 vehicles. I have the last registration and bill of sale from 1982.
I'm starting the bidding at $550. If you sell the five rims and the banjo style steering wheel you would have the rest of the car for free.
Buyer is responsible for pick-up and shipping. The car is located Rhinebeck, New York.
