1949 MG T-Series Description:

When I purchased the TC, my neighbor, an expert sports car mechanic, sorted the car thoroughly.New steel fuel line, brake hoses and cylinders, and linings.Shock bushings, belts, new thermostat, hoses, drained gas, fix fuel sender leak, new wheel bearings, new head gasket, plugs, electronic ignition, oil seal nuts on rear axle, etc.

5 new Dunlap tires and new Moss tubes 5 years ago, now with less than 1000 miles.

All five wire wheels sanded, primed and painted Mercedes Silver and clear coated.

Paint, chrome, interior, engine compartment, and under car are still show quality.TC is always covered and never out in damp weather.Only driven to exercise once a week and occasionally to local Saturday car show, where it gets a lot of attention.

Recently installed a new Moss thick core radiator and changed coolant to Evans Waterless Coolant.Coolant will last lifetime of engine without changing and no worry about corrosion, especially with the rare aluminum head.

New S U Carburetors from Moss Motors. Made by the S U company with the tooling that made the originals.Exactly like the originals, but made with modern metals and new linkage.The original carbs go with the car and they have been rebuilt.The new carbs stay tuned and make the car run beautifully.

This TC like most EXU models that have been restored has a few period modifications, back to the original design of the 4 previous years:Removed the bumpers that were added to comply with old US regulations of the time.The turn signals are changed to vintage after market ones popular at the time.The horn is moved to the badge bar as in home models.Note the Pebble Beach badge on the bar.

A new battery was installed in '16.
