1948 Mercury convertible "Special" Base Description:

Greetings; Thank you for your interest! This is a nice car. The Hemmings article says more about car that I can. Terry the owner is available for contact if matters get serious. Mercury came from South Africa. Previously restored in England. Original drive train. About 200 miles on car since professionaly repainted 2 years ago. New convertible top installed winter of 2016. Tires less than 1,000 miles and 4 years old. Owner rebuilt all hydraulics for brake system. 2 new brake drums on rear of car. Vacuum operated Columbia 2 speed rear end.
