It was restored off the frame some time in the 1990's. This car is being sold due to the declining health of the elderly owner and has been lovingly brought back to full running condition by the professional staff here at Black Horse Garage.
Black Horse attended to everything on the car including fuel system, cooling system (with a rebuild of both water pumps), brakes, tune-up, alignment and end-to-end detail.
This car features the venerable Mercury flathead V8 coupled with a 3-speed column shifted manual transmission. It has deluxe wheel covers, front and rear bumper guards, factory heat, defroster and AM radio. Front seat belts have been added for additional safety.
This car is an absolutely wonderful car to drive, it accelerates, handles and brakes beautifully. It is probably the best one in existence condition-wise. It is nearly perfect and could be shown at high levels.

He went on to be influenced and trained by some of the best Ferrari mechanics in the world, honing his skills and perfecting his craft. After more than two decades of working on Ferrari's, Frank has decided to explore other luxury makes, such as Aston-Martin, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, and Jaguar, by opening his own car repar and restoration facility in Miami, FL. And eventually in Bridgeport, CT, where we are today. Frank now has ove 45 years of experienc restoring all types of amazing vehicles, and is the recipient of countless national awards from the most elite European Sport Car Events.
