For Sale is my 1955 Mercury Monterey 2 Dr Hardtop Original Solid California Car with the Original 292 V8 Y Block with Ford O Matic Auto trans. that runs strong with no issues and the Miles show 67030 possible Original the way it sounds and runs. Factory Power Windows on front and manual rear factory ordered owner said to me . The car has been stored for over 30 years inside a shed in Glendora Ca. Purchased from Original Owner last year .Original Factory Black Paint but was old and faded so I had it Painted Matt Black.
The entire car is Rock solid there is no Rust or Rot anywhere as this is a Solid California Car.I had removed front and rear Bumpers and Chromed them both plus before car was painted I removed all Stainless and had them Professionally Polished then reinstalled all trim moldings with New mounting Clips.
Please check out how straight the car is in the pics Yes Very Straight you will not be disappointed.I Reinstalled Bumpers with new bumper bolts plus new mounting bolts not the old one like some do.
New Interior on Bench Seat and Rear Seat has Original Headliner with normal ware stains with no rip, New very Expensive Tail light Lens top and bottom and custom outer taillight body seals, New Fuel tank with sending unit, New KYB Front shocks and sway bar grommets. I did Lower this Merc front and rear with blocks 4 ". I did go over the power brake system that the owner had done years ago and replaced 4 wheel cylinders and with new brake fluid stops like drum brake stop . The head lights work but switch is touchy have new one included. Plus Original Skirts painted Matt Black with new seals installed have hooks that need installed. Basicly this car is a very nice driver that I have driven locally around town that only needs some minor finishing like brake lights and dash lights can use a upgrade of under dash Mooneyes Gauge set . HAVE CLEAR AND CLEAN CALIFORNIA TITLE IN MY NAME .
