1955 Mercury Monterey Deluxe Description:

Up for auction is my gorgeous 1955 Mercury Monterey 2-door hardtop, which has its original 292ci 8-cylinder motor with original Holley "tea-cup" carb mated to a 3-speed "three on the tree" manual transmission with overdrive. This is a solid survivor classic with all original body panels with no damage or rust. The underside is also rust-free and has been painted black. The interior is new and done as original, tastefully to match. The motor does not burn or use any oil, starts right up and runs right out as she should.She has original drum brakes on all four corners and "arm-strong" steering. The speedometer is not currently working and she is missing her heater blower motor. I was planning on adding Vintage heat and air. We can discuss a credit to the winning bidder for the heater.
