First year for the new 1939 Mercury. Shark mouth grille by Bob Gregorie, Continental designer for Edsel Ford. Fabulous unmolested example; never rusted, no patches or bondo anywhere.Floor shift 1939 only. Restored forty years ago from original fully-optioned car with radio and heater. Correct leather interior. Very good top and boot. Clear window glass. White side tires and matching spare have very good tread. Excellent engine. Includes original tool kit, jack, owner's manual, sales brochures, and fifteen b/w factory-dealer original publicity photos. Rebuilt or replaced starter, generator, regulator, fuel pump, carburetor, distributor, ignition wires, master cylinder, wheel cylinders & shocks.Tranny removed and rebuilt. Gas tank boiled clean and coated. Receipts available.Highway rear gears (3:51) standard in Mercury make interstate driving easy, and standard hydraulic brakes bring safe stops. Bright LED headlight bulbs. Dual exhausts. Extra battery, fuel pump, carburetor distributor and full cover included. This Mercury is tight, runs and drives as new. You will not be disappointed.
