"R" Code 428 Cobra Jet - RARE!

1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator Description:

New arrival. Additional photos available soon. Genuine "R" code Eliminator with 428 cubic inch Cobra Jet engine and ram air hood. Also equipped with an automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes and traction lok differential. Only 2,250 Eliminator's were produced in 1969 and of those only 162 were equipped with the "R" code engine and automatic transmission. This Eliminator was originally blue metallic with blue interior but the prior owner opted to restore it to the more striking Competition Blue... (or what Ford called Grabber blue) with black interior. It has excellent paint on an arrow straight body. shiny floors underneath, a detailed engine compartment and a very nice interior.
