This Merc. is a real looker! Coppery Red exterior paint with tan interior. Runs great and drives straight and smooth. All the power of a 429! It is Fun! The resoration is getting a few years on it now but still in good condition. There are a few minor rock chip blemishes in the expected areas of the paint. Its not show car paint but a really good driver quality. All the glass is good with no cracks or chips. 1940 and 1941 were the last years of the "art deco" styling and this coupe doesn't dissapoint. The body is sleek, straight and shiny. Not a rust bucket. We only get 11 inches of rain annually and no salt is used on the roads during winter. The interior is in good shape. All Ford running gear: 429 Ford V8, C6 automatic transmission, 8 inch Ford rear end. Power brakes (disc front and rear), Power Steering, Power windows. Donor front and rear suspension is from a Lincoln. Tires are nearly new.
