1969 cougar convertible

1969 Mercury Cougar Description:

"RARE" Cougar. Only 69 made with 4 speed wide ratio Transmission. This is an everyday driver. New paint in 2015. Has a couple nicks from driving, Has # matching engine. Had engine professionaly rebuilt by Phil Miller Motors in Montoursville,Pa. Has 335 hp, 400lbs tourque. Have Dyno sheet. Never driven hard. 8 track works. Runs good. Ground up restoration. New floor pans. Also found build sheet and inspection sheets under carpet, a little rough. I have issues with windows lining up, tried a few time to get them right, not trying anymore. Remember this is no trailer queen, I have maybe put 1000 miles on it in 3 years. Just losing my interest in it. Another issue with it is there is a lose wire in the convertible top motor, actually have a string running under back seat that is connected to that lose wire that will wiggle if top does not come up or down. Just want to be honest with everything. I would want anyone to inspect this car before buying. Want new owner to be happy with it. Drum brakes. Everything works on car, headlight covers come up and down, rear turn signals work properly, no horn ring. The only thing not shown in pictures is I had new leaf springs put in, had original ones in, needed new, it brought car up 3 inches above rear tire, looks great. Manual choke.
