1940 Mercury Coupe Chopped Custom, Project Car, not Ford Chevy

1940 Mercury Other Description:

1940 Mercury Coupe, chopped top, solid body and doors, good floors. Rolling, painted chassis with Mustang II front end, power disc brakes, Chevy Nova Rear mounted with Chassis Engineering leaf spring kit with shocks installed. All brake lines run, GM tilt wheel. Small Block Chevy engine, block hugger headers, T-350 transmission, driveshaft. Has original dash and gauge cluster. Needs finish body work. Previous owner was making a tail dragging custom, rear lower trunk panel needs finishing, Body was stripped to bare metal and shot with primer/sealer. Solid straight body with no rust. Too many projects, need to make some room. Cool car, nice project. Don't see many Mercs out there. Like a Ford Coupe, only cooler! Would like to see someone finish and enjoy it.
