1969 mercury cougar convertible-No Reserve

1969 Mercury Cougar Description:

Runs and drives like 1969 after 4k in parts in the last 6 months. The list of new parts is endless...the nice thing about starting the restoration of this car is everything on the car was from 1969, the bad was everything was from 1969. My goal was to keep everything stock and fire right up so my wife and daughter could hop right in and go. I accomplished that....again starts, runs, drives and stops like it should. Original Engine original milesPower Brakes-stops straight and smoothPower steering-works great-ALL NEW- no leaksConv top functions as it should.- could use new weather stripping and back glass ( see pic) It did not get to any parts on the top because it functions as it should. All rubber is from 1969 so if you wanted to park it the rain I would replace.
ALL new front and rear suspension-EVERYTHINGStarterradiatorp/s pumpp/b boostercarb4 matching rims with two new tires on rear, almost brand new on front.Mallory pointless ignitionDistributorgas tank and sending unitplugs, wires, intake gaskets, valve cover, oil pan, water pump, front cover and timing chain and gears, hosesTurn signal switch, ignition switch, head light switch, antenna ( radio still has tough time getting a station)-may need radio repaired-guessing internal. It makes noise though-its trying.
Headlights and doors work as shouldTurn signals work as should, sort of...when RR is on the sequential works but left brake light comes on. This may or may not be fixed by pick-up, loose ground in taillights somewhere. All other lights work on car as they should.
Gas gauge, temp gauge, speedo all work!! Clock works but slow, really slow,has moved ten minutes in 5 months.
Drivers door handle does not open from outside ( linkage in door or handle) may or may not be fixed by pick up.
Small rust on LR 1/4 and some other spots. I tried to take pics of it. There is nothing terrible rust wise on this car. Rear corner of door openings, small fixable. Small floor spot, fixable.
I know I am missing some new parts. I will add as I remember .
