You are viewing a very nice original Mercury Comet Cyclone. This vehicle is an original numbers matching car sporting its original 289 4bbl. engine which has recently rebuilt with performance in mind (runs beautifully), C4 Dual Range Transmission and 3.00:1 rear differential. Same Florida owner over 20 yrs (Florida Title).
Some of the options are Vacuum operated trunk release, wood grain steering wheel, power brakes, custom wheel covers. Equipped with dual exhaust, AFX Ram Air hood, rally pack, and radial tires. Original hood with hood lip chrome included as well as many extra parts including many 4 speed parts that I have collected over the years.
Nice straight original sheet metal, was repainted its original color of Med. Ivy Gold Metallicin the 90's and has had some touch ups but still looks great. Gaps are good the trunk lid sticks up a little because the entire car just had all of its weather stripping replaced. Bumpers are very nice and all the glass is nice. The interior looks like new with new seat upholstery anddoor panels. The underside looks great, no floor, trunk or frame rail rust (see pics) many new parts including shocks & brakes.
