1970 Mercury Cougar Convertible

1971 Mercury Cougar Description:

1970 Cougar non XR7 Convertible. (work in Progress) i bought this car already painted out of Houston over a year ago. i put a used 351c (2V) fmx from a 73 mustang. Car runs and drives out good. all new front suspension, brakes re chromed bumpers, new top with glass back window, new carpet, i added the hood scoop, front spoiler and sport mirror. the car was painted over 10 years ago but sat in a garage so it has a few small scratches. it also has a set of circle racing 18" Magnum 500 wheels (650.00 ea.) ive been trying to finish it up but have run out of time.(closing on property in a couple weeks) so this car is being sold as is. here are a few things it needs, I'm missing 1 hood trim piece, but i have the other 3, dash lights are not working,needs "a" pillar rubber and plastic moldings, seat covers are ok but a little soiled i think they are original. i had front end aligned but it seems to wonder a bit more then i think it should. and has a squeek. but all parts are new. i've put about 70 miles on it so far. and if someone has the time and skills to finish her up it will make a nice car, i got a lot of attention at the 2 car shows i took it to. please contact me with any questions before bidding. car is located 45 miles north of Pensacola, Fl. and i do have it listed locally and reserve the right to end auction early for local sale.
