1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator Description:

1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator,with 351C and close ratio 4 SpeedOriginally Yellow with Black interiorHas been stored for years,
It does not have the sunroof assy nor the factory hood scoop, The hood is excellent, but the right front fender is not there.I do have what is supposed to be the original engine Block, crank and oil pan that has been stored inside.There is no vin# on the block but most 70's Mustangs I have restored had the vin stamped on the rear of the head on the right side and not the block..
Check out the photos of the reinforced shock towers, they look to be original.The floors are very good with the exception of a little rust in the front corner of both front floors and a little in the rear corner under the seat next to the trunk area.. The right rear lower quarter will need a patch panel but the left rear is pretty solid.I do not have titles on these but I did get the TxDMV form 68a from the auto theft division for the Eliminator so that a bonded title can be easily acquired from the state of Texas. If you have questions just contact me.It comes with a mostly complete parts car but it has a winsor engine and automatic trans.Many states allow for titles to be acquired for cars sold on bills of sale. If you have questions about titling in your state I will be glad to check it out for you and get you the forms needed for your state if available but please contact me before the end of the listing.

It appears that it was a Factory 4spd car,

It has the factory buldge on the left side of the trans tunnel and the hole in the firewall for the linkage and the bracket on the framefor the Zbar,under the steering knuckle
