What a beautiful site to see! A well maintained 71 Cougar Convertible with a freshly rebuilt 351 Cleveland rumbling under the hood. The 19,320 miles on the odometer are original. The 5.8 liter motor is mated to a FMX transmission, which is a C4 housing with C6 internals. The rear gears are 3.00 to 1. Pop the hood and you will find the factory A/C compressor and power steering pump are in place and functional. All metal is solid and rust free. The paint is in really good shape and was redone several years ago. The interior is original and looks to be in great shape. New motors have been installed to ensure the top goes up and down when you want it to and the exhaust runs out in front of the back tires with a deep tone to it.
