1995 Mercury Grand Marquis LS Description:

PARTS OR REPAIR. New Tires (put on in April, less than 2000 miles on them) and A new alternator around the same time. This is a great car, I'm the second owner but the first was my grandad. As evident in the picture, the interior is in great shape except for the very easily repaired front seat. The clear coat has started to peal because of the heat here in KY. The rear air shocks have been replaced with coil springs, DEFINITELY more reliable and actually made for a smoother ride. I'm selling it because I'll be getting a new car shortly, and this one started burning oil and has developed a knock recently. To fix the knock and the burning oil it just needs piston rings and a rod bearing, the crank is still good to go and doesn't look like it needs to be reconditioned. It still runs with the knock, but I would definitely either fix those or replace the engine. With a new/rebuilt engine this thing will absolutely make it to 250,000+ miles.
