1993 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 600SL Description:

1993 Mercedes-Benz 600SL. Perfect mechanically with prestine exterior and interior. I am the second owner. Original owner purchased the car at Bob Neil Mercedes-Benz in Winston Salem, NC.
In May of 2017 I spent a total of $3,129 having the 60,000 mile service performed. The car had 60,043 miles on it at time of service. The same dealership that sold the car new also performed this service. It is now called Mercedes-Benz of Winston-Salem. I have all the service records for this service and additional service records back to when the car was delivered to the first owner. The 2 photos of the car with the top down were taken while being tested during the 60K service.
In April of 2017 I had the car repainted in its original color of Garnet Red. I paid $4,000 at a custom classic and historical auto restoration shop. The car had absolutely no damage of any kind and was repainted only due to the lower body cladding having faded. I did not want to just repaint the cladding due to the possibility of the paint not matching. There was no body damage of any kind, not a ding anywhere. I will furnish the paper work showing no body repair was done. I will also be glad to furnish the name of the shop and contact info if requested.
I also installed a new set of Mercedes optional chrome rims and new tires before the car left the paint shop. I also have the original aluminum alloy wheels (identical but not chrome) and tires that will go with the car. The original wheels are in excellent condition with no curb rash or other problems. See photo of replaced wheels and tires. The cost of the new wheels and tires was $1,783.
The car is paint code 512 Garnet Red and interior is code 275 Pebble. The convertible top is Black and in excellent condition showing no wear.
All power equipment works perfectly.
I sent the original radio, amplifier, and 10 disc player to Becker for cleaning and repair as needed. All that they needed were cleaning at a cost of $180.00 plus shipping.
The 60,000 mile service included the following:
Engine oil and filter changed
Spark plugs replaced
Transmission fluid and filter changed
Replaced power steering hose and fluid
Replaced oil sender unit and pan gasket
All air filters changed including charcoal filter
Checked engine drive belt
Checked brakes and suspension
Checked all lights and horn
Replaced windshield wiper
Wiring harness checked and found to be all intactand pliable. Harness is in excellent condition
Computer checked for codes
Hardtop removed and the convertible top wasraised and lowered to check condition of all electrical and mechanical components. All worked perfectly with no issues of any kind.
I have the original owners manual with all info intact. 2 keys and 1 remote. 2 original sets of Mercedes floor mats. One that was in the trunk and never used.
Tires are 225/55 ZR16 on 8 x 16 inch wheels.389 HP and 420 lbs of torque.Compression is 10.0:15.9 seconds to 60 mph.Top speed is electronically limited to 170 mph.
