1978 Mercedes 450SL
Runs and drives well, registered, insured and in regular use. The car presents very well in black with a black leather interior. The car has a nearly new black soft top which has seen little use. There is a nice stereo with an iPhone hook up and a small amp mounted in the trunk - so you can actually hear the stereo when traveling at speed with the top down.
The car has been maintained to keep it in daily use, recently receiving a new steering coupler - which has completelyeliminated any slop in the steering. Steering is now tight and precise. Previous work includes a brake system overhaul, including a new brake master cylinder, new brake lines,rotorsand pads. New power steering lines and various other routine maintenancejobs have been carried out as and when required.
The car sits on its original 14" steel wheels and hubcaps. New tires fitted less than a month ago along with a new battery.
No rust.
