1977 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series 240D Description:

I am the second owner of the car. The car was originally purchased in Fort Brag, NC and always garaged and meticulously maintained. At the time I purchased the car the seller was 95 years old and the car had not been driven regularly for 7 years. The car was correctly stored in a temperature controlled garage and covered. The interior, exterior, trunk, underneath the body and hood are pristine. All glass is original. The paint is original and shines like new. The interior is all original shows as new. The Diesel engine starts and runs perfectly and has no leaks. The transmission was rebuilt and has been driven 5,000 miles since. All electrical and mechanical components work perfectly including air conditioning, clock, power windows, power door locks, original radio and speakers, gauges, interior and exterior lights, etc. The only item that is not working is the power antenna. I have a new $275.00 OEM Hirschmann power antenna that goes with the car. Radio plays great and picks up many stations without the antenna raised.
The car has recently been completely serviced including tune up, air conditioning refit and it is ice cold, new brakes, belts and hoses, new set of Michelin tires etc.
All original Mercedes Benz books, service records since new, tool kit, and first aid kit are with the car.The car still has the original wool floor mats over the original carpeting and all still look new.
Never any accident damage, rust or corrosion of any kind. No one has ever smoked in the car.
The car is ready to be driven any distance without any concern or hesitation.
