1980 Mercedes-Benz G-Class Description:

Last winning bidder was non-responsive so she's back up for grabs.
Manufactured in March of 1980 this Mercedes was produced within the first 6 months of the G Wagon Launch. This desirable rear barn door model 300GD is in surprisingly great shape for her age and is an absolute pleasure to drive. The 5 cylinder diesel cranks right off and her 4 speed manual transmission cycles smoothly. The battery and tires were both recently replaced. Odometer froze at 40869 so actual mileage is unknown. I imported the vehicle from Europe and have a Louisiana title in hand. The vehicle recently passed inspection. Vehicle runs perfectly. Underside looks good, a couple spots on upper quarter panel seem to have been treated and repaired when painted black from the original tan. Minor drip of engine oil on seal but very minimal. Parking brake handle needs a bracket. 3 keys included. Vehicle can be driven and enjoyed knowing it will continue to appreciate or restored to perfection very easily. While I hate to let her go, I simply have too many projects. Starting price is the lowest I'll let it go for. If it does not sell I plan to restore next month.
