1973 Mercedes-Benz Other Description:

This 1973 Mercedes-Benz 280 is finished in Autumn Beige over a brown interior and is powered by a carburetor2.8L inline-six coupled with a four-speedautomatic transmission. Equipment includes a sunroof, fog lights, Zebrano wood trim, a Becker Europa AM/FM radio, and more. This W114 is now offered with factory manuals, a very rare factory first-aid kit, and Georgia registration.

The car is finished in Autumn Beige (430U) and features fog lights, a sunroof with an aftermarket wind deflector, and a retractable antenna. Imperfections captured in the gallery are a sun damaged cracked dash and sun damaged top of the rear seat. This was a southern car with no signs of any rust as shown in the gallery.

Factory 14″ steel wheels wear polished hubcaps with painted centers. Michelin Radial XH4 tires are sized 185/75 and display pre-2000 date codes. Four-wheel disc brakes are equipped.

VDO instrumentation includes a 145-mph speedometer, a clock, and gaugesmonitoringoil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 27k miles, verified by some documents, although true mileage is unknown.

The carburetor M110 2.8L twin-cam inline-six is paired with a floor-shifted four-speedautomatic transmission.
