Finished in maroon over light tan MB TEX, this W123 wagon has been driven just over 210,900 miles since new. It sports a very good running TURBOCHARGED five cylinder diesel engine mated to the factory 4 speed automatic transmission. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with Michelin tires on the factory alloy wheels. It features electric windows, manual sliding sunroof, updated Pioneer CD stereo, air conditioning and original owner's manual. It is being sold with clear and clean California title with current 2020 registration. This is a fabulous find, for about the cost of THE SALES TAX ALONE ON A NEW E-class sedan!
THE BODY AND TRIM
This exterior of this 1985 Mercedes Benz 300 TD wagon is in good to very good 99.99% dry, clean rust-free condition overall with a deep shine to the paint finish with a few blemishes including a small dent/scrape on the left front fender, one cracked backup light along with various nicks and light scratches one would expect of a 35 year-old classic. Overall it is a very presentable and still handsome and eye-catching wagon!
THE INTERIOR
As I hope is articulated in the photos, the interior of this classic Benz is in quite nice original condition with most all other gauges and controls in excellent working order. Imperfections inside the car include a couple of minor dash cracks, isolated electrical glitch with the gauges when turning on the lights, along with some light general wear to the upholstery and trim bits. Overall this is still one clean, comfortable and still stylish cockpit.
