My goal was to create a G63 turbo diesel. Started with 1990 W463 GD300 TDmint conditionwith matching numbers.

After being striped to bare metal and $20,000 body shop work, additional non standard work was performed:

1.3M sound and moisture barrier applied to floor, sides, doors, and rooftop

2. after everything striped to bare metal, tin was applied to all joints and imperfections

3. 3M automotive wax was poured in body, chassis and door cavities

4. applied 3 layers of paint

5. applied 4 layers of lacquer

I have invested about $95,000.00 in this G wagon since I purchased it. I wish I have added up these numbers while I was investing all this money in it. Unfortunately I had not.

If not for Shah of Iran (at the time a significant Mercedes shareholder) to Mercedes and his passion to make ultimate 4X4 vehicle based on the highly successful Jeep Wrangler, the Mercedes-Benz immortal G Wagon line would never have come to production.
As a result, the production of G Wagon started in 1979. Only after fall of 1989 standard w460 was produced to create W463 all wheel drive Mercedes G Class . This 1990 is one of the first ever made W463 G wagon diesel. This is Long wheel base LWB version.
About this Car:
Designed for Safari and off road but also has executive level comfort, has matching numbers, 1990 Mercedes G Class G63 turbo diesel, Desert Brown Metallic, full time 4 wheel drive with high, low 4 wheel range and electronic locking differentials with 5 speed manual transmission, 5 passenger seating with option to add 2 side facing rear seats with seat belts, side steps, rear mount original spare wheel, was appropriately finished in a DesertBrownmetallic over a khaki/black leather/black suede leather interior. The G63 AMG G300 turbo diesel was also outfitted with 20 inch wheels, Pirelli M+S tires and all new Mercedes G63 parts to create all original AMG G63 look but keep the gas sipping. One million mile, 300 turbo diesel engine, 5 speed manual transmission per specifications and records which I have.

Original owner could confirm history of this G wagon from its early days to every year until 2014 when I purchased it and started transformation which lasted over 3 years.

This 1990 G63 AMG GD300 turbo diesel Wagon is extremely RARE, hard to find in mint condition with matching numbers, factory condition and was not used for off road driving.
Not many G class lovers have unlimited budget to create what i did.Unfortunatelynow I have to sell it.
The matching numbers, low mileage as well as its solid condition is no doubt a benefit- the car spent 24 years in a garage and was used only a few months a year by the original owner.
It took me a full year to negotiate the purchase followed by 3 years and 4 months of restoring it so I could finally enjoy it this winter.
With the new restaurant on its way I am ready to part ways with my old love.
This all original beauty has a very low mileage and I have all supporting original documentation to match the original 6 digit odometer.
All services were performed starting June 2017togetherwith full detailing. Additionally, AM/FM player is in perfect working condition but not a factory original - the Becker radio from 1990 would be era correct. All mechanical components were serviced, but kept original.
The original engine, differential and transmission have matching numbers as a proof, also located in wheel-well - front right frame.
G63 AMG turbo diesel GD300 TD is a fantastic experience to drive. Its road manners are what one would expect from any beautifully engineered motorcar. With abundant power and thrill to drive this G turbo diesel is simply addictive.

They are a tiny group of factory-built, constructed with the intention of increasing the public visibility of one of the greatest SUV ever constructed.

They are priced for their magnificent engineering and build quality, purity of design and outstanding driving experience, with just a few in this condition which have survived to this day. They are very seldom offered for sale. This is a gem - hard to find MINT matching numbers not abused, well maintained G Wagon G63 AMG GD300 turbo diesel.
This G Wagon was Mr. Velkro true passion and it became mine after I got a great deal from him. I bought the car for 40k, It was beautiful in and out, but I had to make it fit a little more to my personality, so I desired to have a color change to a super attractive Green Alien to imitate a the 2016 Mercedes original G Wagon. I spent $4200 on the new paint job that as you see in the pictures is immaculate. I also spent $2400 on a new set of 22" Wheels and tires. A new music system that cost me about $800 with kicker speakers DVD, navigation, internet ready (Youtube, spotify, facebook, ect). Also when I got the car it came originally without A/, so I had a specialist install a new system that cost me around $2500. I also had the exhaust redone which cost around $400. These and a few other thing that we did on this car made look and feel like a dream car for anyone. Over $50k I have invested on this vehicle and a lot more from the previous owner will give you the chance to own a one of a kind car. I have enjoyed it for about a year now but is time to do us apart now, not because I need to or not because I stopped enjoying my green lanther, is just because I am a business man and will only sell if it goes over $46k in this auction.
