1992 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 2-Door Convertible Description:

I have owned this car for approximately 6 years and have used it as my secondary car. Using it frequently since there are 2 of us and my wife keeps the primary car on the road most every day.. I just bought a new Pickup truck and don't really need three cars. Being its age, it does have a few minor issues that I have not fixed. Such as, the mileage meteor doesn't work but the speedometer does. Dash lights just went out and I haven't had it checked. Probably just the bulbs. The steering wheel doe have some play in it but its been the same way every since I have owned it. Does not present a problem driving The air blows cold but will not freeze you out. And, the cruse has quit working since I have owned it. I have listed most all of the negative things about the car but there are many more positive things about it than negative. Since I have owned it, I have had the head gasket replaced, had most all of the convertible top cylinders replaced, tires, had a new rear convertible top put on it a couple years ago because of cracked rear side windows, front half is still in good condition. I would not be afraid to hop into this car and drive it across country. I will add pictures with the convertible up and down upon request but I am taking it to the body shop to have some water spots buffed out, Therefore, I wanted to leave the hard top on it temporarily. I do have the strap for taking the top off and on with a lift.
