1980 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Sedan Description:

Sold by the only owner of the car since it arrived from Germany in 1981. The mileage over nearly 40 years averages about 4,150/year. The car is in Seattle, WA.
The Good: 1. The seats were covered by sheepskins and are in perfect condition. 2. The door panels are in very good condition*. 3. The overhead material and sun visors are flawless. 4 All the electrical systems are working. 5. The body is in great shape with about 97% blemishless. 6. New Michelin tires. 7. Original hub cabs are nearly perfect. 8. The chrome on the front and rear bumpers are solid and shiny, 9. The windshield and back window are in very good shape. 10. The front struts and steering systems were replaced. 11. Good brakes. 12. Glow plugs are very good making the engine start quickly. 13. The transmission shifts effortlessly. 14. Original Blaupunkt radio. 15. The trunk gaskets are new. 16. New battery
The Need: 1. The right rear passenger window needs a shim to keep it from sliding. 2. The Cruise control holder is broken at the joint with the signal arm. 3. There are a couple of noticeable cracks on the dashboard. 4. The radio antenna works but does not rise when the radio turns on. 5. Recent scratch on the rear tire back panel (it happened at the mall). 6. The airconditioning system is not charged (it was never needed in Seattle). 7. Underneath the front bumper, the plate there has some bends. 8. The door panel on the driver's side is brown and needs either painting to match the rest of a new one.
