1973 Merecedes 450 SLC 47,857 miles No Reserve

1973 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Coupe Description:

There is no reserve on this 1973 Mercedes 450 SLC Coupe with only 47,857 miles on it. It is silver with a blue leather interior and the body on this car is in great shape with no rust ever.It has A/C, power windows, power sunroof, the original BlauPunkt stereo/cassette player and it has the original fog lights. The mileage is original, the car came from a son who's father passed away in 2004 and the son went to Georgia to get it. He drove it back to New Hampshire where he parked it in his basement garage. He didn't get a chance to drive it so he took the gas line out of the fuel pump located under the gas tank and drained all the gas out of the car. It sat in his dry and heated basement for 15 years. When he decided to sell the car he couldn't find the keys and I ended up buying it "as is" with no keys. I had new keys made by Mercedes, replaced the fuel pump and lines with new and put in a battery. With fresh gas it started right up and the engine runs strong, but it does need a tune-up.I drove it around my yard enough to make sure it ran and shifted OK. It stops and the speedometer and the odometer are working. The rugs are like new as seen in the pictures and the car has the small bumpers on it.Problems: The fog light lens on the right side is broken, the interior seat need some work on the leather, the top of the back seats are sunburned. The tires hold air but are cracked from sitting and the paint has minor chipping around the sunroof and the back window. The brakes work but are spongy.
