1978 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Description:

Vehicle was a daily driven commuter car. I purchase it last year needing a full brake job (new rotors pads calipers and rubber lines) and valve cover gaskets. Work was completed and car now runs, drives and stops normally. Additional work done recently includes replacing drivers seat bottom due to sagging.
Shortly after, I acquired a complete Euro parts car and transferred all the white parts you see onto this car (aluminum hood, euro bumpers, genuine AMG body kit and 16” Ronal Penta wheels.)
I’ve since had trouble getting it to pass California smog testing. I’ve narrowed it down to egr valve malfunction or quite possibly just needs fuel trim adjustments to pass.
Comes with some spares: cluster, Ecu, trunk spoiler, original hood and bumpers, spare cloth top in ok shape and other random bits and pieces.
Call it a rolling parts car or a fixable daily driver, up to you. But I am selling it in as is condition with no warrantee nor expectation that it will pass smog.
