1973 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Description:

1973 450SL in decent shape. Last of the small bumper/small mirrors pagoda tops. Bought a couple of years back to slowly restore but lost interest. Bought this from a lady who's boyfriends wife decided to take her disappointment out on the car; Torn seats, driver card cut, soft top cut and boot cover cut.The owner decided to take an insurance claim on the car for the vandalism hence the salvage title. Does not appear to have ever been in a wreck. Cannot do a Carfax with a vehicle of this age.This car needs a motivated owner. Lots of documents and original Becker radio will be included. Found some corrosion in trunk on passenger side- it could be patched up.Car runs and drives ok. Drove from San Francisco to Sacramento with no issues easily cruises at 80MPH+.This car needs work and is priced accordingly. Car is sold as is where is-.This car can remain in California as it is smog exempt.I prefer BMWs 1600 and 2002s.
