1982 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series Description:

This car runs and drives, has manual windows and auto trans. The car was sitting for 20 years when I picked it up. I did a lot of work to it and did almost all of the maintenance. Here is what I did or replaced: new radiator, fan shroud, hoses and thermostat, all new brakes, everything front and rear, rotors, pads, calipers, hoses, brake sensors, master cylinder and brake booster, new tires and repainted wheels, flushed tank, did diesel purge on the injector pump, all new filters, changed the oil, replaced trans filter and gasket, main vacuum hose, shift valves, throttle linkage pivot, shift linkage bushings, air filter, comes with a valve cover gasket and glow plugs, good replacement front fenders and steering colum with steering wheel. The interior is not that bad except for the dash which has many cracks. The body is not too bad either, the front fenders are rusted at the bottom due to leaves settling at the bottom but I have new ones for it, there are small rust holes here and there but it is not rusty underneath, still solid. The motor runs great, transmission shifts through all gears, stops great, steers great, rides real smooth. This would be a great car to finish or part out. This has a brand new AGM battery and tires with 5 miles on them, that is worth the starting bid alone. You won't find another one with more new parts for this price.
