1983 Mercedes SL Convertible

1982 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class SL Description:

I'm selling a Mercedes SL convertible that I am not sure if it is a 560SL or 380SL. It has a 560SL badge but I am not sure if they had a 560 in 1982. It was a Southern California car .was moved to Las Vegas and we shipped to Virginia when he lost his license. It has been in a garage all of it's life.It has no rust It has 118000 miles and ran great until we parked with a fuel issue. I cleaned the fuel tank and put a new fuel pump and ran out of time to play with it. The body ia a 9 with a few imperfections and had been repainted. The top is in great shape and goes up and down easily. The aluminum hardtop is in fantastic shape except the back glass is cracked. The leather seats are in great shape with no rips or splits. It need fuel injection work as it runs ok with fuel squirted down the injection opening. Unfortunatly the chrome plated wheels are in not so good shape and hold air fine but don't look real good. We need to sell as we are moving . This is a great bones car for a Saturday driver car.

Upon further review three of the Chrome wheels cleaned up pretty nice so it might just need one wheel,it will need new tires
