In 2015, this well preserved 240D, underwent a Convertible Conversion as well as a full repaint and custom interior restoration by the Highly renowned Newport Specialty Cars Inc. in Huntington Beach, Ca. They are the leaders in Convertible Conversions for over 30 years. Pull and hold the glow plug and the OM616 engine starts immediately, runs strong, and shifts smooth and timely. The steering is tight and the suspension is controlled and supple. It brakes well without pulling or pulsations. Climate Controls work as intended with Ice Cold A/C and Heat. Air blows out the appropriate vents. Manuals, Spare, Jack and tool kit included. All options working including all windows, door locks, power antenna, except drivers front window is off the track.
