I bought this beautiful and legendary Mercedes Benz 280E several months ago and have enjoyed every moment of it! It is my everyday driver and I drive about 10 miles a day. Shopping a 4x4 now and making room in the garage. It is in great condition and all original. I'm the second owner and the previous owner was a wealthy old couple with matching cars and maintained it impeccably. Clean title and a fat book maintenance items including regular maintenance for the life of the car. The records are in hand and over $30k in repair and maintenance over the 37 years of its life. Estimated 45k miles in the new motor. Odometer is stuck on 219,000 miles. New breaks and tires all around. The car drives perfect once it's warmed up. Idles high and sometimes stalls when it's cold but ALWAYS start back up quickly. I have a specialist looking into what it needs. Always starts and has never failed me.
