Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this exquisite 560 SL in a fantastic color scheme. Out of the 25+ examples we've had over the last year or so, this car here is by far the best and most original one we have seen. It was purchased earlier this year from the mother of an Asian family in Fair Oaks, California where it lived all of it's life garaged. Approximately 15 years ago, the car failed to pass it's California emissions test. The car was worked on by a few local MB dealers but eventually found it's way back into the garage where it was stored until recently.This car was purchased by us and it's overall near new condition is almost unbelievable. The car's 100% original paintwork, chrome, glass, leather seats, interior carpets, dashboard, softtop, door seals, trunk, engine compartment are pristine. The car's only flaws are a small dent on the rear bumper and a dime size blemish in the windscreen ( in front of the rearview mirror). The rest of the car is essentially perfect original Mercedes.The car recently received a new set of injectors, HGR valve, and a major tune-up. All of the car's original rubber components were updated as necessary including front subframe mounts, engine and transmission mounts, rebuilt and balanced driveshaft, front shock absorbers, exhaust system hangers, A/C recharged, etc. Approximately $6000 was spent to ensure this car drives as well as it looks.This car has been test driven for the past 1000 miles with complete reliability and enjoyment here in the Southern California beach area. It's rare and seldom seen color scheme is ideal in a warmer climate.Overall, this fantastic 560 SL has been massaged to perfect mechanical health. It is possibly one of the finest cosmetically originals on today's market, having been tucked away in a Northern California garage for all of it's life. This car is a scarce opportunity to acquire a superb, untouched original example of this grand touring Mercedes Benz design.
