1982 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Description:

Meet Buttercup, a sweet Benz wagon if ever there was one!
I bought her in 2012 with 165K mi. She was lovingly restored after being salvaged by Oklahoma Benz and Bimmer legend Todd Rasmussen. Originally red, she was repainted a lovely butter yellow. She has been an Oklahoma car for 36 years so has minimal rust for her age and has been mostly a town car for 6 years--a daily driver for around 6 months in 2016-2017. Her odometer broke in 2014, was replaced with a unit that read 113K, which also did not work. So odometer reading is 113K. Estimated mileage is under 190K, based on ownership tenure and my driving habits.

Interior in good condition, with wear as expected in 36 yr old car. Headliner is in good condition with one small puncture near the dome light. Window upholsteryaround both front doors needs to be re-glued. Lining under drivers seat is sagging. Upholstery is tan vinyl in good condition, with a wear spot on the door edge of driver's side. Front seats are springy and retain original net bags behind. Back seats are firm with no wear. Carpets have a bit of staining as expected with age. Minimal cracking/crazing in woodwork. Dashboard cracking is minimal. Steering wheel has a bit of play. A few small rust spots on side panels and on inside of rear hatch. Car has enjoyed regular routine maintenance throughout its life.
$3700 worth of work done in 2017 by Autobahn Foreign Car Service, Oklahoma City--have receipts:

• New Bosch battery
• Total front/rear brake system overhaul--pads, rotors, vacuum hoses, master cylinder, lines, calipers, boosters, etc.
• Valve adjustment, gasket replacement
• Various filters and hoses replaced
• Repacked wheel bearings
• Replaced fuel filters, lines
• Replaced air filters-hose assembly
