1971 Mercedes-Benz 280s
1971 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series 280s Description:
For sale is a garage find. I believe I am the third owner of the vehicle. It has 56,000 miles on it confirmed by the title and previous owners. The folks I bought it from purchased it from the original owner who owned a tire business in Maryland. They drove it sparingly but it did sit outside and got some rust. The interior is quite beautiful with only some minor blemishes and trim pieces missing. Updated radio was installed at some point. The AC blows cold and was updated to 134A. The carpet is pristine and the wood dash has been cared for. The main dash top does have some cracks in it. New white wall tires are on the car as well as new front rebuilt OEM calipers. A new pneumatic fuel pump was installed as well. The car passed PA state inspection. There is a leak at the rear window seal and the door seals are dry rotted. Both the replacement rear window seal and the door seals will be included in the sale. There is a small leak in the radiator near the top. It would most likely need recored. It only leaks after the car has been driven while it is cooling off. You could have all of this repaired for under $800. This is really a neat car and with some TLC, body work, and a well done paint job it would be back to 100%. It is totally drivable and ready for the road. Just needs a little love. Come take it for a spin! $11,999 obo
