Mercedes diesel rare coupe for sale. 1982, has 183,000 miles, although odometer is a bit slow. Engine is strong. Has many new parts, including rear axles, front suspension ball joints. Good car to restore or use for parts. Set up with viton fuel lines to run biodiesel.
This car is a classic, with a well known reliable engine. It has mostly mechanical and very few electronic components.
Some issues:
Needs a new rear trailing arm installed. 2 refurbished ones, can be included as well as some new parts such as bushings and flex discs for an additional $500. Also needs new floor pans.
Transmission sometimes has a slight jerk between 2 of the gears. May need a new flex disc, a new one can be included.
Air conditioning does not work.
Sunroof stopped working, may need a fuse or repair/ lubrication.
Some of the body has been repaired with filler. Car could use a paint job. Have the side molding pieces.
Have owned for over 6 years. Would like to repair the floor pans and install the trailing arms, but busy with other projects. May be time to pass on to a new owner.
