1982 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series 240D Description:

This 1982 Mercedes-Benz 240D is finished in Classic White over Palomino MB Tex and was sold at Jim Lyons Modern Classic Motors in Reno on March 25, 1982. Three months later the original owner moved to Santa Clara, Cailfornia and owned the car up until 2016 when I acquired the car. I have all service records from new and the car was maintained at Symthe/Stevens Creek Mercedes This W123 Mercedes has all OriginalFactory Paint (Paint Depth Meter Verified) and is in excellent condition. The interior is also in excellent condition with no tears and the headliner too is in excellent condition including the dash!! This W123 is all original except, I changed the radio so it is ipod/Bluetooth Compatible. I also have the Original Floor Mats but bought New Coco Mats which are currently in the car. Everything works except the Cruise Control.
The car features an optional electric sliding sunroof along with optional passenger mirrior and now shows 152,000 miles which I have added about 5k miles since my ownership. Power comes from a 2.4-liter diesel inline-four paired with an 4 Speed Manual Transmission.
There is extensive maintenance history but just flushed all the fluids, Installed Brand New Michelin Tires, Wheel Bearings, Brakes, Both Fuel Filters, Air Filter, Vacuum Locks, Brand New A/C System and much more.
I have 3 sets of Keys, Books and a binder with all the records. This is a High Quality Driver Car that is getting super hard to find clean examples! The only reason why I am selling is I just bought a W123 300 TD Wagon.
