Mercedes 300d 300dt Turbodiesel

1984 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Sedan Description:

Up for sale is my 84 300d that I've owned for 6+ yrs. I've owned 3 of these cars and I believe they are the best cars Mercedes ever built, and probably the most reliable collector car you can own. I currently own 12 cars and the decision to start selling a few of them has been difficult. I decided to sell ones I can most easily repurchase simular in the future.Much work has been done to this car from the time I bought it.All new brakes down to the master cylinder.New paint job and body work. The car is straight as an arrow.New belts, hoses, alternator, battery, fuel return lines, refinished rims, new tach sending unit, newer dashboard wood, new window switches, new oem floor mats, new dashboard cover.New shocks, newer tires, newer engine mounts, all new front end.Ball joints, shift linkage bushings, rear transmission mount. Much more odd ball items replaced.All the gauges work, lights work, transmission and engine are strong. The oil changed less than 200 miles ago. The two things that im aware of not working is the power antenna dosen't work with the stereo. It does work however when bypassed, the motor works. I've seen it go up and down. There is no belt on the ac compressor. Not sure if it will work, but it gets better fuel economy with it off.I wouldn't hesitate to drive this machine from East coast to west coast tomorrow. The car rarely drips oil which is rare on these and starts easily every time. The glow plugs have been replaced.Im am listing with no reserve and have it for sale locally as well.I want it to go to a good home. Any questions please ask. Car has historical plates that I keep.
