*The Underbody is as clean as can be and it is free of any sort of leaks, wear, or rust!*- Personal inspections are welcome BEFORE buying the vehicle but for those of you that do not live nearby, I have to the best of my abilities provided a description of the vehicle and provided numerous pictures to let you purchase with confidence !
All functions of the vehicle are in proper working order. It starts right up every time with a strong 4.2 V8 engine that simply glides at any speed with an astounding amount of power. All Gauges in the cluster display and work as they should (oil pressure, engine temp, rpm, etc) The Chrome is in fantastic shape showing no signs of oxidation, peeling or fading. The rubber trim / seals around the doors and all around the vehicle are perfect and soft as intended creating a firm seal. The Sunroof tilts and slides as intended with no weird noises or hesitation. Power Seats, Climate control, windows, passenger mirror, Stereo, Cigarette lighters and all electrical functions are ALL working as intended. The Original R-12 AIR CONDITIONING WORKS AND IS FREEZING COLD ! The heat also is in great working order ! All of the glass is engraved with (SEKURIT) in each window which is original and in excellent shape ! The Windshield is also original and presents itself with the Factory Daimler Benz Sticker.
Since 1991, this car has been exclusively garaged next to my other W126's and Mercedes Classics...A 1991 560SEC with 32k Miles Black over Dove Grey... A 1987 300SDL TurboDiesel with 59k Miles Black over Java...and A 1997 S500 with 58k Miles Black over light tan !!!
The 420SEL has only been taken out only during the spring and summer months. It is in perfect mechanical order. There has been no expense spared keeping this car up to OEM specs, physically and mechanically.It has recently been fully looked over by a Certified Mercedes-Benz Technician for a PPI (before me listing the car for sale) and he was amazed at the overall condition of this vehicle the car is in, and finding absolutely nothing wrong with it ! 4 - Bosch OEM Brake pads, and Rotors.4 - Proper Michelin Premier AS Tires.Oil change with 10 W-40 Liquid Moly Engine Oil Semi-Synthetic With OEM Mercedes Filter.-New Bosch Fuel Filter-All engine belts have been replaced with OEM Mercedes parts-New Windshield Wipers and arm Grommets.-ALL NEW FLUIDS:Transmission service...consisting of a new seal, filter and fluid !-Brake, Power Steering, Coolant and Rear Differential fluids have all been drained and replaced !- A new Thermostat has also been installed-Brand New Mercedes-Benz Headlight Wiper Blade Inserts and fog light lenses.-Official Mercedes BenzS-Class All Weather floor mats have been added to the vehicle for extra protection.-Custom Cut Rubber Trunk liner to Mercedes-Benz preserve carpet.-Brand New BOSCH Battery.-BERU Spark Plug wires &8 BOSCH OEM Spark Plugs-Beck Arnley Distributor Cap and Rotor-OEM Mercedes Benz Chrome Center Caps installed.-OEM Mercedes-Benz Hood pad.
This 420SEL comes with all of the Original paperwork / Owners Manuals, Original Window Sticker and the Unopened Original Medical kit.The Mercedes-Benz Tool Kit is still in its original plastic packaging aside by the unused spare, it's truly remarkable.
