1984 European 500SL with soft and hard top

1984 Mercedes-Benz 500-Series Description:

Very nice original leather interior. Always covered with sheep skins. They are in excellent condition and included in sale.The car has the original MBZ soft top (very nice).The upper half of the motor has been rebuild. A new valve job with valve guides, seals, had gasket and valve cover gaskets. After the valve job the motor has a compression of 185 PSI on each cylinder in cold condition. Several needed hoses and gaskets are replaced. The front end is rebuild including front and rear Billstein shocks. Brakes are redone with 4 new discs, pads and sensors.The car has a very nice original color re-paint. The car is 100% rust free.The A/C system is converted to R 134 and is blowing very cold.There are two little problems: The car has a vacuum leak in his central locking system, so you have to use the key to lock and unlock.The other problem is, the car has a dash cover with two little cracks (hardly noticeable).This is a very powerful car and the 500 SL's are very rare already. So that is the reason why my asking price is FIRM.
