Up for sale is a 1972 Mercedes Benz 280se. Its design was created by the then Mercedes Benz stylist Paul Bracq. In terms of comfort and spaciousness, this W 108 still sets the standard.

This timeless classic 46-year old S-class W 108 series motor coach has an inline 6-cylinder fuel injected engine (2778cc), automatic transmission, power windows, air conditioning, reupholstered seats, headliner, carpeting, nice wood accents, factory fog lamps, European headlamps, and spare parts such as spare chrome trim and wood pieces, spare euro headlight parts, etc.

This fantastic looking driver is in great shape as you can see from the photos, has a new battery, but could use a tune up and has the following known issues; front window regulators need adjusting, hood and handbrake cables, sticky horn button, A/C needs refreshing, and couple of minor paint scratches as you would expect from a nearly 50-year old classic S-class with refreshed paint, etc.

I’ve done all the heavy lifting and need to make room for my next project. this car is priced to sell because I need the space, not the money, so low-ball offers need not respond to this ad as you will not be acknowledged. This car runs, drives, is currently 2019 registered, and I have the pink slip in hand! We've both seen the other 280's listed here on eBay and yes, this is the nicest of its peers.
