The 380 SLC showcased the Mercedes-Benz lineup for 1981, and was the last year they made the 380 SLC; only 3789 were produced worldwide.
This 2 dr coupe with sunroof has its original, beautiful, Lapis Blue exterior and dove gray interior. Dallas, TX home, garage kept for 36 years. Rust-free, no accidents, one owner for 35 years, non-smoker, no pets ever in car. Original owner's manual. Currently has European headlights and spoke wire wheels; still have original headlights and wheels that will go with car. Double timing chain conversion. Due to long time storage and very little driving, it needs good TLC...full-service and repairs, front to back--it's 36 years old!
Exterior/interior are in very good condition, due to always being garaged and not driven in the rain. Driver's seat back is worn...dash has 2-3 age cracks, and rear window louvers have typical peeling. Tire tread is 95%. Odometer is broken.Current (04-2018) vehicle registration and inspection. Starts, runs and drives well.
If I had a 3-car garage, I would definitely keep this car and restore it to at least street show condition. It is a stunning classic and is still a major head turner!
