I purchased this car new from my local Mercedes Benz Dealer. After a break-in period of a little over 12,000 miles, the decision was made to turn it into theUltimate Collectorʼspiece. The conversion started with a total AMG aerodynamic package consisting of the front & rear bumper units, side door skirts and rear trunk lid spoiler. (There were also other custom one-off appointments added for appearance).

It was now time to transport it by enclosed carrier toRENNtechin Stuart, Florida for ownerMr. Hartmut Feyhland his talented team to transform thisMercedesinto a real performance and handling jewel. A complete newRENNtech3.6 Litre power-plant was built and installed, transmission modifications to handle the increased power and torque, a lower rear-end gear (3.27:1) for quicker acceleration and finally lowering the entire car slightly with the addition of a set ofBilstein Sport Shocksfor itʼs incredible handling capabilities. When it comes to Mercedes performance and handling, NO ONE comes close to thePremierteam atRENNtech. The incredible part of owning aRENNtechconvertedMercedesis when you step on the accelerator, you quickly feel that itʼs not a stock 1990 Mercedes 190 E class any longer, but yet at the same time it maintains itʼs subtle smooth idle and quietness that you expect from a Mercedes automobile . It doesnʼt take enormous power to make this light weight bodystyle have real get up and go. Motorized Armrest–Convenient foot control to open & close a custom designed and fabricated armrest with a slide tray that houses the Pioneer remote control box. The Remote control is always at your fingertips for super convenience

Motorized Glove Box Door–Opens & closes with the “Central Command” push button conveniently located on the console. Exposes passengerʼs personal TV monitor to enjoy favorite DVD movie or music video

Motorized Refreshment Ice Chest–Opens & closes with (2) separate push buttons conveniently located on the console and also on the left rear door panel. Exposes an ice chest that holds soft drinks, candy, snacks and other food items to satisfy your appetite on those long outings. Melting of ice is handled by means of an insulated tube at the bottom of the chest that drains slowly onto the ground underneath the car. (Everyone will love this convenient refreshment feature)

Tinted Glass–All side glasses and rear glass has been tinted to control outside light from interfering with TV Monitors by reducing the glare and also keeping the car cooler in the summer months

Motorized Headrest–Separate door panel mounted controls for left and right side height control for ultimate comfort

Trunk Area:

Motorized Amplifier Rack-This sliding motorized custom designed and fabricated rack houses (2) Pioneer Premier Series Amplifiers- Audio Control EQL Equalizer- Audio Control ESP-3 Center Stage Channel Processor for dynamic & crisp center stage vocals. The entire rack is covered with a custom fabricated lexan cover for protection and is silkscreened on the underside with a musical instrument motif highlighted with gold foil accents and the wordsCar Tunes. At the push of a button on the car alarm keychain, the rack powers back for full component display and when pushed again, it moves back forward for the upward driving position.

JL Audio Subwoofer Speakers–(2)- 10” Subwoofer speakers are mounted on a commercial grade heavy duty lazy susan style custom designed spinning enclosure. A 3/4” thick custom fabricated lexan cover with laser cut slots for sound release and protection covers the spinning enclosure. The enclosure spins around for full speaker display and back forward and locks into place into the driving position. When in the display position, it has twin led tube mounted lights that reflect off of a mirrored bottom for a dramatic appearance.

Pioneer Name Plaque–Custom fabricated billet aluminum name plaque is mounted on the face of the motorized amplifier rack. Plaque has a dark grey anodized finish with the wordPioneerlaser etched in a lighter grey anodized shade for a classy soft appearance.
