1992 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class silver Description:
$4,500 OBO. Hard top and Soft top.Los Angeles, CA area.Smogged, registered through 2018. If you’ve clicked on this car listing than I assume you are already a car guy or gal and know this is a classic car status so I’ll skip a lot of the technical stuff. Bottomline I have to sell my beloved car asap due to a medical issue and bills piling up. (now I understand Aflac!) We’ve been together for 15 years. I’m the second owner and I bought it from someone I knew. My SL and I have been together for many occasions ranging from dog beaches to movie premieres and traveling half way cross country to visit old friends and family along the way. It was garaged for 3 years and it started right up and drove beautifully after all that time. There’s a new battery, brake line and rear tires. Stuff to get fixed: front plastic apron needs replacing, air conditioner to be fixed and while the convertible top is in good shape it needs that oil cylinder thing that makes it go up and down … and the plastic in the top replaced. While I HAVE to sell it, please don’t tell me if you’re buying it to tear apart for parts : (
