1983 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Description:

1983 Mercedes Benz 380 SL. I am the 3rd owner of this amazing low mileage appreciating classic beauty.
The car has just over 28,500 ORIGINALmiles.
This car runs and drives like a new car and is solid and rust free. It has been stored indoors and pampered all of its life and obviously hardly ever used.
There are no rattle, squeaks or vibrations of any kind. It seriously drives like a brand new vehicle. Doors open and shut like a brand new car. German engineering at its best. This is truly a car I would not hesitate to get in and drive cross country.
EVERYTHING works and yes the A/C blows cold. A/C has beencompletely gone through at the note of $2,600. The previous owner also upgraded the timing chain to a dual to replace the single timing chain the car originally came with from the factory.
The paint on the car is all original and is in very good condition but not without some flaws. The car is 34 years old. You have to get up close to really see. No dents.
There are some minor scratches on the rear deck lid from taking the hardtop off and on over the years. When the hardtop is on its covered. I would NOT touch the original paint on this car. It shows VERY WELL and I am being super critical. There is also a small crack on the drivers side rear bumper.
The soft top is in good condition but has a small tear in the seam. Glass is clear. To be honest I have never put it up since it is a "Sunday " car and only sees the sun on beautiful days.
Interior i, dare I say, perfect? Well is really is as near perfect as you will find. No issues whatsoever. Absolutely mint.
Rims are like new also, tires are 2 years old and probably have less than 500 miles on them. Hardtop is perfect and headliner is too.
In short a really beautiful car with NO ISSUES that can be driven as it continues to appreciate. Look where the 560"s are going. This car is sure to follow. You will be hard pressed to find such a low mileage car in these nice colors.
All books, orig tools, orig keys Etc.. go with the car
The orig spare is still intact and has never been out..
